Rachel C. Mahaffey

I was born and raised in Oklahoma, which instilled in me a love of thunderstorms and rainy days. I went to college in Chicago, but didn’t graduate, instead pivoting my focus to the medical field in hopes of finding a stable career that could finance my lifelong love of writing and telling stories. Medicine took me to Seattle, where I currently–and may forever–reside. After 15 years, I retired from the medical field and finally did the scary thing: I started writing and editing books full-time.

So, here I am, all of these years later, still writing and telling stories. I’m currently working on multiple projects, one of which you can see as it is brought into the world over on Patreon. I’m publishing a chapter a week of my upcoming zombie apocalypse second-chance romance as a Patreon exclusive. It’s going to be fun.
