Developmental Edit $0.02/word

• A developmental edit looks at the big picture. I’ll do a thorough and deep read of your manuscript and help you identify problem areas. These can include issues with POV, tense, character development, or plot. I give suggestions based on your genre and marketability. This package includes multiple reads as you rewrite based on my suggestions. I’ll work with you until your manuscript is where you want it to be, whether or not you take any or all of my suggestions. This package includes a 30-minute call to discuss my findings and your goals moving forward.

Line Edit $0.015/word

• A line edit takes a close look at your actual prose. While maintaining your voice, I’ll read through your manuscript and help identify areas that could use a little polishing, either for clarity or because the prose is a little rough around the edges. I’ll suggest small edits here and there for how you can clarify and smooth out your prose to make your book really shine!

Copy Edit $0.01/word

• The copy edit is the final polish. It goes through the work and corrects typos, grammatical errors, and spelling issues. It’s the last step before you hit publish and it is vital! A good copy edit is the difference between a polished, professional looking novel and something that seems amateurish and unfinished. I’ll read through and grab everything I see that needs a little tweak. We’re all human and it’s so easy to miss these small mistakes in our own writing, so hiring a copy editor is a wise move.

Line & Copy Bundle $0.02/word

• A Line & Copy Bundle simply combines the Line Edit and the Copy Edit. Either I do them at the same time, or I do one and then the other, depending on your preference.

All Services Bundle $0.035/word

• The All Services Bundle includes all three services and is typically a weeks- to months-long commitment on my end. We will start with the Developmental Edit and work to take your manuscript from rough draft to final draft. I highly recommend this service package for new authors, as I will be available to offer support, suggestions, or a shoulder to cry on through the whole process.
